Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I am the wife of Dave, the mother of Quentin (son age 13) and Sawyer (son age 10), the owner of a Golden Retriever named Koda, 2 cats names Sugar and Spice, and I live in the wonderful community of Almaden Valley in San Jose, California. I am also a licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician, the “stoker” on a Cannondale tandem bicycle, a very passionate cook and a Customer Service Representative for a software company.
I have created this blog as a networking place for people to find out what others are doing and enjoying (or maybe not enjoying) in their lives. It is meant for people with busy lives, to help them use their valuable time more wisely. How often do you end up trying to rent a movie for the family, only to find out that it was a loser film? Who has time for that? You have little time to cook and so many cook books it makes your head spin. How do you know what recipe is good for you and your family? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place to go to get recommendations from people like you? Books to read, places to go with-or-without the kids, great new recipes... this will be a site for you to look for what is hot and what is not. Basically, it’s a place to help you make better use of your precious time.
I will need your help though! Use the “comments” link at the bottom of the pages to send me your additions to the blog. I need your submissions so that I can pass on the word to our network. So start sending in those recipes, book and movie recommendations, kitchen gadgets you can’t live without...
